[/color]Character Name: Roxy Lalonde.
Appearance: Roxy has (naturally! duh) platinum blonde hair, which she wears in a style that flicks out. Bodywise, she's pretty average! Around 5'6, not particularly skinny, not particularly curvaceous. She typically wears t-shirts, short skirts, scarves and leggings and although her outfits can vary, they almost always include a LOT of the color pink. Man, she loves pink! She even wears pink colored contact lenses to complete the look.
Age: 16
Magica Element: Darkness
Personality: On the surface, Roxy seems like your typical hot, flirty, dim-witted american high school girl.
She's anything but dim-witted, though. Roxy has an incredibly sharp, logical mind and is a pretty damn skilled hacker. (Though how much of her "mad haxxor skillz" are genuine is up for debate- she's a little prone to exaggeration.) She's excellent at scienjces in general, actually, particularly biology (she dabbles in weird biological experiments in her spare time.) To put it simply, she's actually kind of a huge nerd. Old-school video games, 1337 programmin', wizard stories and the occasional fanfiction are all hobbies of hers.
In her interactions with others, Roxy is pretty casual and easy-going. She's not one for causing drama, and tends to be more playful and friendly most of the time. And maaaaybe a little flirty from time to time. She'd seriously like a boyfriend.
Roxy is incredibly kind hearted and is willing to go out of her way to help others, often putting their needs before her own. This doesn't stop her from being a little bitter about it from time to time, though. Sometimes she wishes people would pay a little more attention to HER problems.
Speaking of problems, Roxy suffers from something of a drinking problem. Her dad leaves a whole bunch in the house so she figures hey, why not. Drinking is FUN. It makes you feel good, relax, and forget all your worries. What's not to like?? Not to mention the whole rebel teen drunk image is totally sweet. She says she could quit if she wanted but, well. Whether that's true has yet to be seen, since she's never actually attempted it.
Biography: Roxy lives alone with her father in an apartment in central New York. Sure, her dad's usually too busy travelling round the country to look after her, but Roxy isn't bitter, really! She wishes she lived with her mom though; her mom is a total legend. She's a highly successful author, and Roxy is her number one fan. She kind of misses her younger sister, Rosey, too! Sometimes just seeing each other at school doesn't quite cut it.
She's in her junior year at Roosevelt high school, and is kicking all kinds of butt. Roxy excels in maths, computing and the sciences. Her English is a little more lackluster; a lot of the teachers don't really appreciate her wizard fanfiction. Their loss! Roxy is positive she'll be a great author like her mom someday. Or a hacker. Hackers are totally cool.
Her best friends at school are Janey, Jake and Dirk. She's pretty sociable though, and has plenty of other friends besides.

Paragraph Sample: Okay, so. John thought roleplaying was probably the nerdiest shit he’d ever heard of. He certainly never thought he’d be doing it himself! LIVE ACTION roleplay was possibly even dumber. But Vriska was his buddy, and she was, well. Vriska was pretty cool (as much as he’d refuse to admit it usually). So maybe it wasn’t SO bad?
Upon her suggestion that John should give roleplaying games a chance, John had given a swift ultimatum. If they were going to rp something, it had damn well better be a Nic Cage movie. After a swift debate over which film to pick (Vriska had wanted National Treasure, but they couldn’t agree on who got to be Cage. Also, Kanaya and Karkat refused point blank to play the love interest. Well, their loss!) Finally they’d settled on Face/Off. That way they could both play Nic Cage, in a way. It was the best idea ever.
Except for the part where it was possibly the most dorktastic thing he’d ever done.
Whatever. He was looking forward to it. He had been sitting around waiting for her when the door was knocked on, and opened it eagerly. “Hey Vriska!” he raised an eyebrow at the paper masks, “wow, haha. Those look like shit. Anyway, you ready for this? Should be fun! Maybe.”
