I think it looks A LOT neater when we all use the same format for pesterchum? And I'm not adverse to editing your posts just to make them look prettier because I'm kind of an interfering butt of an admin. (Sorry!)
Anywho, here are some codes that you should use! I've tried to make this as simple as possible; but if you have any questions about this please don't be afraid to ask! I'm not too good at explaining things.
Key of what you should replace in the codes given (if they're in the code at all); and with what:
- FFFFFF -- your character's hex.
- yourHandle -- your character's handle
- YH -- your character's handle's initials
- 000000 -- the other character's hex
- theirHandle -- the other character's handle
- TH -- the other characters handle's initials.
- YOUR TEXT HERE -- whatever your character is saying.
- MEMO NAME HERE -- the name of your character's memo
Everyone's hex colors can be found here.
EXAMPLES & CODES:
-- arachnidsGrip [AG] began pestering ectoBiologist [EB] --
[/font][/blockquote][/blockquote] [blockquote][blockquote][blockquote][font=courier]-- [color=FFFFFF]yourHandle [YH][/color] began pestering [color=000000]theirHandle [TH][/color] --[/blockquote][/font][/blockquote][/blockquote]
AG: Joooooooohn. AG: Where the fuck are you?
[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] [blockquote][blockquote][blockquote][blockquote][font=courier][color=FFFFFF]YOUR TEXT HERE[/font][/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] When combining these two codes, it looks best if you place them next to each other instead of leaving a line or two of space. The differentiating blockquotes make a line break for you!
The first code can also easily be edited into things like "responded to memo" or "ceased pestering" or "has signed on" etc etc. If you guys want the codes for anything specifically, let me know and I'll add them!
I've also been told that bolding everything looks closer to canon -- but this is a personal preference and you don't have to if you don't want to.
